Why I Think Mara from Mara Clara Is Not Dead
There is an uproar going on with Mara Clara fans. A lot of us are still asking the same question, “Is Mara really dead?” or “Did Mara really die?”. If you want to know the answer to this question “Why, I think, Mara IS NOT dead”, then please continue reading. But be warn, spoiler alert! ^_^
Here are the reasons and facts why I think Mara is not dead:
1. The kidnappers made Mara wear a jacket with bombs around it. She could not have possibly removed the vest because her wrist where chained.
2. If the bomb exploded while Mara was wearing the Jacket, her body would have exploded. It’s VERY impossible that Mara could have survived the blast while the bomb was attached to her body.
Now for the spoiler part. If you do not want to know who really died or if you don’t want me to spoil your Mara Clara then don’t read further.
Mara did not die, instead, the person who got burned and died is obviously Lenita played by Jamilla Obispo. How come? This is what I think happened.
Lenita said that she could not kill a child, and when their fellow goons escape, Lenita was somewhat hesitant. After Gary saved Clara, Lenita went back and saved Mara. Mara was able to escape the blast successfully. Unfortunately, Lenita might have been trapped or caught by the blast thus resulting with third degree burn all over her body.
While Lenita, or who we think was Mara, was in the hospital she tried to talk unfortunately the doctor injected her with sedative making her fall asleep. The death of “Mara” was so cheesy, ABS-CBN would not do something like that. If a main character died in one of their movie or teleserye it would have been more dramatic.
Yesterday’s episode, March 9, 2011, Lenita appeared to Gary. So we thought Lenita was alive, but think again. Gary chased and chased her unfortunately he wasn’t able to catch up with Lenita. That was Lenita’s apparition.
Here is another proof that Mara did not die, instead it was Lenita (Jamilla Obispo). Here is a screenshot from WikiPedia showing the cast of character from Mara Clara 2010.

If you notice “Ping Medina as Karlo David” has a “†” symbol after his name. And what does this symbol means? It means that character is dead. Who else’s name do you see this symbol?
If Mara is still alive, where is she? I don’t know! Maybe ABS-CBN will make another teleserye entitled “Nasaan si Mara”! (parody of Nasaan si Elisa)
Mark Logan did a segment about Mara Clara’s fans’ reaction. Some where still in denial, one fan said that he could not have died because he is the “beda” (mispronunciation of “bida” meaning protagonist or hero).
Mark Logan also featured a girl crying over the death of Mara. This girl cried out loud. Her sister was intentionally filming her reaction.
