Result for the July 2011 Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam will also be posted here

The Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination or NLE was successfully conducted last July 3, 2011. The NLE was conducted in various testing centers nationwide. Thousands of aspiring Nurses took the said examination.

Soon, the result for the July 2011 Nursing Licensure examination will be released. The result will also be posted in this page. If you took the said examination or you knew someone who took the Nursing exams, I’m sure your very anxious to know the results already.

Did you know that there are more than 80,000 examinees who took the July 2011 Nursing Licensure examination?! Below is a summary statistics for the NLE July 2011.

Manila/NCR – 32,000+ or 40% of total number of examinees
Baguio – 5,300+ examinees
Cebu – 7,400+ examinees
Davao – 4,500+ examinees
The rest from other testing centers all over Philippines.

The result for the July 2011 NLE is expected to be released 48 working days from the last day of examination. If the result will be released 48 working days after, that would mean the result will be available sometime in September. But the Professional Regulation Commission or PRC is doing its best so that the result for the July 2011 NLE will be released sooner.

By the way, if you passed the Nursing Licensure Examination and for some reason you want to apply in the government, you can use your Nurse License as an eligibility. Under Republic Act 1080 – AN ACT DECLARING THE BAR AND BOARD EXAMINATIONS AS CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATIONS.

Section 1. The bar examinations and the examinations given by the various boards of examiners of the Government are declared as civil service examinations, and shall, for purposes of appointment to positions in the classified service the duties of which involve knowledge of the respective professions, except positions requiring highly specialized knowledge not covered by the ordinary board examinations, be considered as equivalent to the first grade regular examination given by the Bureau of Civil Service if the profession requires at least four years of study in college and the person has practiced his profession for at least two years, and as equivalent to the second grade regular examination if the profession requires less than four years of college study.
