Lady Gaga is Jo Calderone. Performs You and I at opening of MTV VMAs 2011

Lady Gaga made quite an entrance and a surprise when she came to the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards as “Jo Calderone” her alter Ego/other self. Jo Calderone, a.k.a Lady Gaga, performed You and I at the opening of the awards. Watch the video below.

Did you notice that Lady Gaga fell and trip when she jump from the piano? Around 4:15 of the clip. Did you see it? Anyway, Lady Gaga is one of the big winner in the last 2011 MTV VMA. She won Best Female Video and Best Video With A Message for her Born this way.

Caldorone sure has a dirty mouth, saying the “F” word in every sentence that came out of “his” mouth. He mentioned that he has a thing for Britney Spears, even though Lady Gaga is “his” girl. He even kissed Britney at the MTV MVAs.

Well a lot of people are asking “Who is Jo Calderone?” and “Is Lady Gaga Jo Calderone?“. The answer is pretty obvious. Lady Gaga is Jo Calderone. But why him as her alter ego?

Jo Calderone first appeared in a Vogue Hoomes Japan in September 2010. At that time, it was still unclear who he was. Until his fourth appearance the the 2011 MTV VMAs were, although indirectly, we learned that he is actually Lady Gaga.

But Lady Gaga did not broke the character for the whole night. Gaga remained as the male model with a ’50s greaser hairdo, thick sideburns and dark, brooding eyes and smoke a lot.

Gaga did not mentioned anything about Jo Calderone. For the whole night Gaga “transformed” from a female to a male with different personality. More like a split personality. But why? Gaga did not answer that but there must be a deeper meaning behind all this.

You might not know it, Lady Gaga was accused of being a hermaphrodite for quite sometime now. And that rumors has still been going around. But Gaga must have another reason for creating Jo Calderone and Gaga might have a hidden message just waiting to be discovered.
