Katy Perry won Video of the Year Trophy at MTV Video Music Awards 2011

Katy Perry won several awards at the MTV Video Music Awards 2011. One is for Best Video of the Year and the other is Best Collaboration and Best Special Effects for her single E.T. featuring Kayne West.

Katy wears an Asian-inspired dress, with a Japanese umbrella when she came at the Nokia Theater, Los Angeles. Her hair was pink with flattering curls. Katy did not perform during the said event, unfortunately.

Aside from Katy Perry, Adele was also one of the big winners. Adele won Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Direction for her Rolling in the Deep.

Followed by Lady Gaga, who made a grand entrance and opening performance. Lady Gaga entered the 2011 VMAs not as Lady Gaga, but as an alter Ego in the person of “Jo Calderone”.
