Shocking News! Indiana State Fair Tragedy – Sugarland Stage collapse

A tragic event befell as the Sugarland Stage Collapse at the Indiana State Fair

Last August 13, a tragic event happened at Indiana State Fair. It was supposed to be a big happy event that suddenly turned into one of the worst tragedy ever happened. The Sugarland Stage collapse suddenly after a massive gust of wind passed through.


As you can see in the picture above, people as surely in a panic and most probably a stampede happened. 4 people where reported to have died in the said Indiana State Fair tragedy and there are even more people who were injured and trapped.

It was fortunate to the performers that no one was performing during the stage collapsed. Sara Bareilles was the last one to perform before the tragedy happened. Lucky for her it did not collapsed during her singing.

According to a witness ““A big gust of wind came through. You could see a lot of people panicking. All the scaffolding and speakers — all that came crashing down — and the whole stand just collapsed,” Aaron Richman witnessed the collapse at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

An update has just come in that there are already 5 people who died in the Indiana State Fair tragedy. According to reports the fifth person was a spotlight worker who was on the stage when the stage went down before the Sugarland band were about to play.

Gov. Mitch Daniels said that “Indiana and the nation’s finest fair suffered an unthinkable tragedy last night. Our first and final thoughts today will be with those we’ve lost and the families and friends of those we’ve lost in this terrible accident,”

All activities were cancelled after the tragic event.
