Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance Hits the Big Screens on February 2012

Our darkest hero rides again in Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance this coming February 2012

Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) is back as the Ghost Rider in Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance this coming February 2012. This time the Ghost Rider looks more kick ass and hardcore. The official Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance trailer is already up and it definitely looks better than the first Ghost Rider back in 2007.

As you can see in the video above, the Ghost Rider looks like he really came from hell. His jacket is burnt, the flames in his head/skull looks more realistic and with black smoke this time. His bike looks more bad ass too.

Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance plot
Johnny Blaze went to Eastern Europe to hide. He believes that his power is a curse. He then meets Moreau (Idris Elba) who is a member of a monastic order of Michael. Moreau then choose Johnny Blaze to became the protector of a mother and a son who is being pursued by Carrigan/Blackout.

Blaze then is called to stop the Devil (Ciaran Hinds) who is trying to take human form by taking the boy’s body on his birthday. Roarke (Johnny Whitworth) was transformed into Blackout by the Devil to do a specific task. Maybe to retrieve the boy and to stop the Ghost Rider. Christopher Lambert is also in Spirit of Vengeance, not as Raiden, but a monk who undergoes a sword training for 3 months. Clearly, Blackout and the Devil are the main villains in Ghost Rider 2.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, and is expected to hit theaters on February 17, 2012.
